Stress Reduction — Peer-Reviewed & Published

A peer-reviewed clinical study published in MedCrave Online Journal of Clinical Case Reports (Vol. 3, Issue 2, 2015; DOI: 10.15406/mojcr.2015.03.00055) tracked 12 cancer patients over 6 months. Stress levels dropped 52%, confirmed by EEG, ECG, and QRMA bio-resonance analysis. Cortisol decreased from 16.7 to 12.5 ng/mL (25% reduction). HRV improved from 3.25 to 5.25 (62% improvement).

Cancer Pain: 100% Measurable Improvement

12 cancer patients used the Biomat 3× per week for 6 months. 100% showed measurable improvement: pain reduced 21%, hsCRP (inflammation) decreased 15%, ICAP scores improved from 646 to 477, and QRMA bio-resonance improved from 64.5 to 46.8.

25%
Cortisol Reduction — Sleep & Recovery

Clinical measurement showed a 25% reduction in cortisol levels (16.7 → 12.5 ng/mL) in subjects using far-infrared amethyst therapy. Lower cortisol supports the body's shift into parasympathetic mode — critical for deep sleep and tissue repair. HRV improved 62% (3.25 → 5.25), confirming autonomic recovery.

Thermotherapy
Dr. Yoshimizu: Cancer & Far-Infrared Thermotherapy

Dr. Nobuhiro Yoshimizu, M.D., Ph.D. (former Director, Yokohama General Hospital; Mayo Clinic) documented cases where lung metastases disappeared after 6 months and breast cancer tumors shrank from 3 cm to 1 cm using thermotherapy protocols. His research on 17 cancer patients establishes the hypothermia–immune connection: cancer patients often have low body temperatures, impairing immune function. Far-infrared therapy restores normal core temperatures to support natural immune surveillance.

6–8 cm
Deep Tissue Penetration Depth

Far-infrared rays emitted through the Biomat's amethyst crystal layer penetrate 6–8 cm into the body — reaching muscles, joints, organs, and connective tissue. This is dramatically deeper than surface-level heating pads (1–2 mm) or conventional infrared devices.

Regulatory Clearance

The Biomat holds FDA 510(k) clearance as a Class II medical device — a designation that requires demonstrating the device is safe and effective for its intended use. Very few infrared mat competitors hold this classification.

FDA-registered indications include:

  • Temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain
  • Relief of arthritis pain
  • Relief of muscle spasms, sprains, and strains
  • Relief of joint stiffness
  • Relaxation of muscles
  • Temporary increase of local circulation

Review demonstrates infrared therapy's potential in metabolic disease management through enhanced mitochondrial function, reduced inflammatory markers, improved insulin sensitivity, and modulation of adipose tissue metabolism.

Heat Shock Proteins (HSP) — Cellular Repair

Far-infrared heat activates Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs), a family of molecular chaperones that repair damaged proteins, protect cells from stress, and support immune function. HSP activation is a key mechanism behind the Biomat's deep therapeutic effects — the same pathway studied in longevity and recovery research worldwide.

Negative Ions — Mood & Air Quality

The Biomat generates approximately 1,500 negative ions per cubic centimeter. Research shows negative ions improve mood, reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, and increase serotonin activity. Found naturally near waterfalls, forests, and ocean surf — the Biomat recreates this environment therapeutically.

The information on this page is provided for educational purposes. The Biomat is an FDA-cleared Class II medical device registered for the indications listed above. Individual results may vary. Far-infrared therapy research is ongoing and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new therapeutic regimen.
